Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Commercial Sector Studio Leader to join the firm as part of our Phoenix, AZ team. Our Commercial Studio focuses on the design of great places to Work, Live and thrive. We are looking to expand our presence in the local market and are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing to bring their skillset to lead and grow our presence and our firm within the local market.

Responsibilities

  • Our Commercial Studio focuses on the design of great places to Work, Live and thrive. We are looking to expand our presence in the local market and are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing to bring their skillset to lead and grow our presence and our firm within the local market

  • Collaborate and strategize with our Commercial Market Sector Leaders and other leadership on project pursuits to maintain existing client relationships and establish new business.
  • Commitment to design excellence and ingenuity, as well as outstanding service to existing and new clients.
  • Establish credibility through strong project management skills in the commercial market sector.
  • Exceed client and business objectives by inspiring and motivating a team, developing their skills and encouraging professional growth to continue cultivating our local presence.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships with existing and prospective development clients in the realm of Commercial Office, Mixed-Use Master Planning, Civic and similar project types.
  • Fee Generation and Management suitable to the market.
  • Identify project opportunities
  • Generate and execute proposals
  • Lead a team of individuals within the Phoenix, AZ office who will design and execute projects of various sizes

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a NAAB accredited degree in Architecture, along with 12+ years' experience to include an established professional reputation in the market.
  • Professional Architectural registration. 
  • Commercial project experience is required.
  • Strong Business Development Skills and networking ability are a must.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD and other graphics-related programs preferred.
  • Qualified candidates will be heavily involved with business development as well as project management initiatives, must have strong aptitude for business development, strategic leadership skills, presentation skills and high self-motivation. 
  • Must have convincing conceptual design skills as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.  
  • Must have strong communication skills and the ability to discuss project metrics, construction practices and contractual terms with existing and prospective clients.
