Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Supervisor for Accounts Payable and Payroll Operations to join the firm as part of our Accounting team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations staff in the completion of all accounts payable and payroll functions for domestic and international entities.
  • Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, address payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms as needed.
  • Develop and implement AP policies to improve efficiency, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Manage the company’s corporate credit card program, including issuing cards, monitoring usage, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Review and reconcile monthly credit card statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with employees to ensure proper documentation and approvals for credit card expenses.
  • Oversee the employee expense reimbursement process, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company policies.
  • Review and audit expense reports for accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely processing of domestic and international payroll, including salary payments, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions.
  • Work closely with HR and external payroll providers to ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations in various jurisdictions.
  • Address payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain payroll controls and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams to optimize workflows and improve financial systems.
  • Assist with audit inquiries and provide necessary documentation for compliance and reporting.
  • Provide leadership to Accounts Payable and Payroll teams, setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering professional development.

Qualifications

 

  • Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting operations experience, with focus on accounts payable, credit card administration, expense reporting, and payroll management.
  • Experience with accounting, payroll, and expense management software in a large enterprise environment. Deltek VantagePoint experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated history of championing new technologies and processes to achieve efficiencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven high-volume environment.
  • Strong management and leadership abilities.
